Initial Pain

Tweezing thick hair out the first time is quite painful. The best way to minimize the pain is to make the area that's being tweezed at a time as small as possible. This can be accomplished with the use of wide plastic packing tape. The tape, if used properly, concentrates the pain to a very small area.

Once the hair is tweezed out, retweezing is easy and isn't painful for most people. At most it's uncomfortable. As time goes on and one continues to retweeze, it gets less and less uncomfortable.
